What is this Yandex?

Yandex is a company like Google. But this company is a Russian company. In 1997 this company started a search engine. It's a big competition with Google.

Arkady Volozh and Arkady Borkovsky start this Russian technology and internet service company.

Now they have more than just a search engine.

Yandex.Mail – Email Service

Yandex.Images – A picture Search Engine

Yandex.Money – Online Transactions

Yandex.Taxi – Taxi Service

There is also a Yandex Browser. It can be downloaded for free from Playstore and App Store.

This is a simple introduction. Google is about 10 times as big as this one. But there's a good match.
